Step 1 - Dig the sucker up and ensure that you place the turf from around the sprinkler head to one side of your hole and the soil on the other side.

Step 2 - Adjust the swing joint and check the level of the sprinkler head by laying the pipe across the hole ensuring that it laying on the turf and not any soil that you dug out from the hole. Make sure that you set the head aproximitely 1" below the bottom of the pvc pipe and pack dry soil back down around the swing joint.
